Dampening Field

1. What happens if my opponent is supposed to flip more than 4 cards during the battle? [Source: WotC]
   The extra cards are simply not flipped. It doesn’t matter whether those extra flips were because of abilities like bold, a white battle icon, or any other ability.
2. If I Bolster into a Multi Mission Gear, can I play Dampening Field and it activates? [Source: WotC]
   You can play Dampening Field, but it would be past the point where it would trigger.
